How fortunes can change – in round 9, the exact same teams/players competed with Shearers winning 14 to 7. In round 16 the same teams competed and drew 10 all, but with Shearers having a fill-in.

It just goes to show that team dynamics can change a lot during the season, and anything can happen in the finals.
